Bremen — City of short distances

Bremen is easily accessible by plane, train and car.
It is an one-hour flight from Frankfurt, the international flight hub of Germany.
It only takes one hour by car or train to get to the coast (North Sea, Wadden Sea Area, Bremerhaven) or to Hamburg, the famous metropole in Northern Germany.
 
Bremen by plane
Frequent connections from a number of national and international airports.
Bremen airport is just 15 minutes by tram from the city centre. To get directly to the Conference Center please take the tram line 6 (the tram stopps in front of the terminal) to the main station. You can walk across the main station (to the exit „Bürgerweide“) to reach the Conference Centre behind.
 
Bremen by train
ICE and IC/EC trains (intercity express lines) provide service to the city centre. To get to the Conference Center please use the exit “Bürgerweide” at the central station.
 
Bremen by car
The “Bremer Kreuz” intersection is a major transport hub linking the A27 Cuxhaven-Bremerhaven-Hannover and A1 Hamburg-Osnabrück-Rhineland motorways.
To get to the Conference Center please follow the road signs “Messe Bremen”.
The Bremen Congress and Exhibition Centre lies in the heart of the city and is easily accessible with all major transport systems:
 
• 15 minutes taxi or tram ride from the airport
• 10 minutes drive from the national motorway
• 3 minutes walk from the central railway station
